Learners
Phase 1 Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 Project Execution: Students will work on the deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome - Report and Presentation: Students will submit a detailed report on the outcomes of the project. Teams will also present this in the last class. Organization representative(s) are invited to attend these presentations.

Requirements
Beginning this January, student-consultants in teams of five will spend 300+ hours per group developing strategic technology solutions for your organization.
Based on the information and goals you provide, students will supply you with actionable unbiased recommendations for improving your organization. Student research will include cost analysis and feasibility analysis to develop insights into conducting strategic research for the future.
Example projects include, but are not limited to:
- Proposing solutions and recommendations for computer information systems, mobile apps, cyber defense, cloud technology, networking, database design or implementation, CRM software, or information assurance.
- Gathering requirements and developing specifications.
- Providing Gap Analyses.
- Documenting As Is and developing To Be solutions.
- Developing RFPs (Request for Proposal).
- Providing technical research for a proposed solution.
- Performing feasibility studies.
- Assisting in documenting new processes and procedures as needed.
- Facilitating testing (if applicable for software or hardware implementation).
- Promoting user acceptance of new processes/systems.
- Developing training plans.
